Light Curing Adhesive

Product Description:

The dline Light Curing Adhesive is a 5th generation, single-component, one-step bonding agent designed for modern restorative dentistry. Based on acetone, HEMA, and Bis-GMA resins, it is perfectly suited for the wet bonding technique, ensuring a strong and reliable bond between dentin/enamel and various polymer-based materials. This adhesive requires surface etching prior to application.

Intended Use:

To bond dentin and enamel to polymer-based restorative materials.

To bond compomers and ceramic surfaces.

To improve the overall retention of dental restorations.

Directions for Use:

Note: It is recommended to use a cofferdam during application. Do not use if the primary package is broken.

Cavity Preparation: Prepare the cavity as per standard procedure. Cleaning with an oil-free prophylaxis paste is recommended. For deep cavities, use a calcium hydroxide liner or a glass ionomer base.

Etching: Apply an etching gel (e.g., dline Phosphoric Acid Etching Gel) to the surfaces. Leave for 15 seconds on dentin and 30 seconds on enamel. Rinse thoroughly with water and dry with air, avoiding over-drying of dentin. The surface should appear chalky.

Application: Shake the bottle well. Dispense a small amount of adhesive. Using a fully saturated micro applicator, apply 2-3 layers of adhesive onto the etched surface.

Drying: Dry with air for 10-20 seconds to evaporate the solvent. The surface should appear glossy. If not, apply additional layers and dry again.

Light Curing: Light cure for 20 seconds using a polymerization lamp (≥700mW/cm², 400-500nm wavelength).

Restoration: Apply the light-curing restorative material (e.g., dline composites) and finish the restoration.

Warnings & Precautions:

Flammable: Highly flammable liquid. Keep away from heat sources.

Allergies: Do not use on patients with known allergies to any of the ingredients.

Pulp Exposure: Not to be used on exposed pulp.

Irritation: Uncured product may cause skin, eye, and respiratory irritation.

First Aid:

IF ON SKIN: Wash thoroughly with soap and water.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes and seek medical advice if irritation persists.

IF INHALED: Move to fresh air.

Contraindications: Should not be used with products containing eugenol.

Safety Measures: Always wear protective gloves, clothing, and eye/face protection. Use in a well-ventilated area.

Storage:

Store at 4-28°C in a dry, well-ventilated place.

Keep the container tightly closed and protect from direct sunlight. Do not freeze.

Keep out of the reach of children.
